How to Make Your Own Website (Using WordPress) In 11 Minutes

If you really want to live a lazy lifestyle, and make bank while doing so, you gotta learn how to make your own website!

Sure, eventually you can outsource all this, but it’s very important that you learn how to build your own web page (at least, once!).

Dan Brock “The Deadbeat Super Affiliate” here…

And in this tutorial I’m going to walk you through the entire process of creating your first website step by step.

Step 1 – Finding a Niche Market

Whether it be to sell your own products, or you want to sell other people’s products, you need to pick a market to build your website in. Here is a tutorial that reveals 6 proven niche markets to build an affiliate site in.

Step 2 – Do Keyword Research

For affiliate websites, always include the main keyword you are trying to target in your domain name. This helps significantly with rankings. Watch the video I embedded at the top of this page for ideas on keywords to target.

Step 3 – Register a Domain Name and Web Hosting

I am a big fan of HostGator. Use them to register both your domain name and hosting.

Go for the “Baby” plan.

Use the coupon code: HOOKUP to get your first month for just 1 penny.

(Remember: Try and include a keyword related to your niche in your domain name!)

Step 4 – Install and Configure WordPress

I use WordPress on every single website I build. I consider it the “Microsoft Word” of internet websites. With WordPress, you can build a website and do everything from layout, design, and more with just a click of a mouse! Luckily modern web hosting companies like HostGator allow you to install WordPress within just a few clicks. No technical knowledge required!

(Watch the video on this page for the tutorial!)

Step 5 – Chose a WordPress Theme

I always choose a clean and simple WordPress theme for all my affiliate sites – reason why as it makes it easy to consume for the reader, and because of this increases the overall amount commissions you’re able to drive with your affiliate site!

Step 6 – Add Your First Piece Of Content to Your Website

After you register your domain name and hosting, install WordPress, chose a high converting theme, you immediately want to add your first piece of content to your new website. Always go with the flow when it comes to momentum! Watch the video on this page to see how it’s done!
