Top 10 Free Website Traffic Sources for Affiliate Marketers

My Top 10 Free Website Traffic Sources for Affiliate Marketers

Sup Deadbeat?

It’s a pleasure to have you here today! In this post I will be covering the top 10 free website traffic sources that are best suited for deadbeat affiliate marketers! Hold on, it’s going to be a good ride…

These are the sources that I have tested and they work VERY WELL for all of my niche sites, I use them on a daily basis and see really good results.

Most of them I have been using for a long time, but I’m also going to be talking about a couple of new ones also! You see one important thing to note when utilizing traffic sources… is always finding more!

More is better, and it certainly will help your campaigns rather than hinder them. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket so to speak, make sure you have a lot of different traffic sources! (Good job deadbeat….).

REMEMBER, don’t put all your eggs in one basket!

YouTube Is Traffic Source Number One!

Unless, you live under a rock or some where in Australia (joke)…you know how big YouTube is!

This is one of the best free traffic sources around for many reasons. You can get your video’s ranked well in Google, which is obviously a TRAFFIC GOLDMINE & just on YouTube alone there is more than enough traffic…

It’s really quite simple to make videos and if your willing to put in the initial work of optimizing your videos and a few extra steps, then you can get some awesome traffic!

Facebook Fan Pages, Facebook Groups & Facebook – Dominate FB!

Just as big, if not bigger than YouTube is Facebook!

With this platform you can take advantage of fan pages and some really cool FB groups. This is a very smart free traffic source for affiliate marketers….

One of the best things about FB groups is that they are highly targeted and you can really narrow down a very engaged group of people!

The best way to become successful in Facebook groups is by adding MASSIVE VALUE & really showing what your made of, by providing some interesting business insights….

Another, thing you will want to consider is trying to find some tools that automate your FB posting. There are two or three around (well good ones) and they really do make a difference!

Ah Good Ole Blogging!

Blogging is the next free traffic source I want to highlight!

First off:

Blogging is VERY POWERFUL… it’s been around for many years and will continue to be in the future!

HECK, there are loads of million dollar blogs, world famous blogs etc. Blogging is not dead, people just don’t know how to use it properly!

One thing I love is that blogging seems to be pretty reliable! That is good because there are some things online that aren’t. So, in terms of an awesome traffic source and reliability…this gets 10/10.

It’s a platform to show case your expertise and you can build MASSIVE authority which also helps in any online campaign!

Another, key thing to blogging is that when you build an high authority site, you can embed your YouTube video’s on there and then get massive link juice to your video’s, so they rank better, GO DEADBEAT….

When you start a new blog one thing that I highly recommend is being a content beast (should I trademark that haha?). For your first 60-90 days, focus heavily on cranking out that deadbeat content…here’s why:

  • With a large amount of content you will pushing yourself past failure…
  • Google and the search engines LOVE fresh and consistent content..
  • So by doing content everyday, this is a good signal to Google…
  • It’s good for your focus and getting stuff done!

Reddit Traffic – More Than Just a Cute Little Alien…

I have to admit, when Reddit came online for the first time… I was like “this has to be some sort of joke, why is there an alien? (haha)“. However, never judge a book by it’s cover…!

This affiliate traffic source is CRAZY (crazy good…). But, do be aware that the moderation of this site is quite strict, but hey that means it will stay a quality website and my deadbeat friend, quality traffic is my language…

You know how people spam Twitter or Instagram, this won’t work on Reddit. What you should aim to do is provide immense value and monitor how much you drop your website’s link.

You need to space it out and mix it up with non link content. This is how smart affiliate marketers do it…

Another cool thing you can do is take advantage of Fiverr and get people to post links on their already established Reddit sites…but with anything make sure to do this properly!

REDDIT is a powerhouse of free traffic…. USE IT!

Weebly & Tumblr – 2 Explosive Free Traffic Sources

Next, you can use and to really gain some awesome additional traffic. For Weebly you will want to create mini sites, full of good content. This platform RANKS VERY WELL IN GOOGLE….

You need to put in the work at first and for your high ranking keywords, doing mini blogs is a must! Sure, at first it will take some time… but I’m telling you right now it’s so worth it!

Embed your YouTube video’s and add some sexy deadbeat links to your other content….

….best of all this traffic is long term and highly targeted! Do you see a trend here?

Tumbler is next and this is a powerhouse of a site also. One key thing to note here is that Tumbler pages rank very well on the Yahoo search and of course this means awesome traffic.

I really love this web 2.0 platform & it’s very effective. As, with YouTube the internal traffic from Tumbler is also very high and they have a lot of visitors to their site each and every day :)

P is for Pinterest (Our Next Traffic Source)

This next site is also very effective, you don’t need to be the next Jackson Galaxy (cat celebrity person…), to use Pinterest to your advantage. Like most things you do online, it’s how you perform the task that matters…

WordPress uses out there, Pinterest is awesome because there are a lot of plugins you can use to really get people to share and engage your pins.

For example, there is this one plugin that will allow you to have a pin it button on your site and it will easily let people pin your latest post or that cat cool image (haha).

A lot of pins “go viral” and of course this is what you want, but here are some key elements for a successful pin:

===> Use the proper dimensions, there is a good template in Canva…

===> Embed your site’s Url within the image itself…

===> Test pins and test colours, there are certain colours for pins that rock!

Tweet Tweet – Twitter Twoh

Oh the good ole Twitter hey? Yes, a silly name but a very effective platform, when do right!

One of the key things you need to do on this platform is automate the tweets and posts. They need to be more regular, because tweets come fast and hard, meaning if you only post once…it will get lost!

Reposting your content will get more eyeballs on your content and links. You will then gain a lot more followers.

There are free and paid tools to do this, but the FREE one work well enough….

Having what is called a TWEET ME plugin is a useful tool for your site…

Next Free Traffic Source – FORUMS

Yes, forums still work and they are just as powerful as some years ago. However, people are just negative and saw somewhere that the latest Google algorithm doesn’t like forums.

That isn’t true, what you can do is create an awesome squeeze page for the niche that your in and then you can target HIGHLY MOTIVATED people in your forum link…

Forums have been around FOREVER & they’re a very HOT traffic source that you need to take advantage of.

The key to successful affiliate forum marketing is to start off slow, build some credibility and then go beast mode. Then, you will see some awesome results….

New Free Website Traffic Sources – These ROCK!

Ok, so the last free website traffic sources I want to include here are:

  1. Snapchat…
  2. Instagram…

A lot of marketers are starting to really gain a lot of traffic from these sites. They have a ton of traffic and people are on these sites EVERYDAY..

In future video’s I will cover these more in depth, when I have some more experience…!

As a final thought for this post, you want to chunk out your information on all these sites. Don’t spend time doing work over and over again…work smarter not harder!

If you want to learn specifically how to use these free traffic sources to create affiliate gold, feel free to get my guide which I have put together for you – 100% FREE!

How to Create Your Own Website (Registering a Domain Name + Web Hosting) – Part 3

Here is a Guide to Help You Create Your Own Website…

Creating your own website is simple… if you know where to start.

In case you do not know where to start, here are a few tips!

The Beginning Stages of Creating a Website

In order to build a website, you must start with key three steps.

Regardless of the website type, these three steps stay the same for every website.

  1. Register a domain name
  2. Purchase web hosting
  3. Install WordPress

Each of these steps play a very important role in how your website will look and run.

Before beginning, make sure you are well prepared with any information you may need.

Where to Register a Domain Name

In order to register a domain name, there are a few web hosting websites you can use.

In this tutorial, HostGator is the website being used to register a domain name.

For those interested in using this website to register their own domain names, here is some important information.

Before you come up with your domain name, you must select a plan.

The plans offered on HostGator include:

  • Hatchling Plan- There are many features that come with this plan, but this plan allows for only 1 domain name.

So for those only wanting to create one website, this plan would be best for you.

  • Baby Plan- With this plan, you may register an unlimited amount of domain names.

This plan is great for those interested in building multiple websites, and the one I recommend for affiliate marketers.

  • Business Plan- This is the largest package HostGator offers. It includes unlimited domain names, along with a free dedicated IP, a free toll-free number, and a free private SSL.

This plan is ideal for business, as well as anyone interested in building many websites.

Choosing Your Domain Name and Signing Up For Web Hosting

This step is very important, because your domain name should not be just some random name.

Instead, your domain name should reflect your website.

This means… use a relevant keyword to help you pick your domain name.

For example, for a website aimed towards sleeping better, a good keyword to use would be “stop snoring”.

Here are some tips to help you pick out a good domain name.

  • Use the Google Keyword Tool to help find relevant keywords
  • Be creative with your domain name to increase the odds of availability
  • Pick a domain name that reflects your website along with the market you are aiming for

After you select your domain name, fill out the necessary information.

Accessing Your Control Panel and Installing WordPress

When you are through signing up, you should receive an email containing a link and more information on how to access your control panel.

WordPress is the easiest and most convenient way to build a website.

Not only is it simple for beginners to use, but there are tons of useful tools you can use to improve your website.

Follow these steps to install WordPress.

  1. Go to “Hosting”
  2. Click on the hosting dashboard
  3. Select the Launch QuickInstall
  4. Click WordPress when you arrive to the following page
  5. Select “Install” and fill out the required information about you and your website

Begin Using Your New WordPress Website

Once you have successfully installed WordPress, the next step is to access your page for the first time.

In order to do this, you must type in your domain name with a “/wp” at the end.

For example, in the tutorial the correct way to this is

Login to the WordPress website using your information that was provided to you.

If you have followed this guide step-by-step…

Congratulations! You have officially gone from registering your own domain name to logging into your WordPress website for the first time.

From there, you can start developing and creating your own niche website.

While you may use whichever web hosting website you want, this is what is personally recommended and from experience, the best hosting for a website.

The same goes for WordPress, although WordPress is the simplest, quickest, and overall the best way to create your website.

Creating a website does not have to be difficult.

With a variety of simple tools and only a few steps, you can begin creating your own website in no time at all.

Using these simple methods will result in a quick and easy process.

You do not need to be an expert to make a website, all you need is some basic knowledge.
